Quick peltage.:A splash of black, grey, and white mixed together.
Full peltage.:A handsome blend of a peppered black, and grey with a soft snow white smashed together to make Hollowpromise. His eyes are a deep icy blue, that are cold and distant all the time. His paws are fully black, white his ears are a snow tipped white. And finally his long lithe tail is tipped in a peppered grey.
His body build is very lithe. Like most ValleyClan cats, he is a great hunter. A father figure he can be at times and he loves to help she-cats when they need it. He hopes to have a litter of his own. His eyes tell a sad tale. They tell of, death, betrayal, and loneliness.So while his personality is sweet, his eyes betray otherwise. They stay cold, even when he is happy. It's the only thing that drives cats away from him. While his eyes are beautiful, they are to his demise.
His mind is slightly twisted, and the way he hunts most cats would frown upon. His technique of hunting is brutal and quick. He takes no time in killing, and does not wait. There are a lot of flaws in Hollowpromise, and he is looking for a she-cat who will love and understand him for what complications he has. A lot has torn this tom apart. It's amazing he is still kind and gentle.
Personality:
His personality changes like Starclan changes weather. He can be sweet and kind one minute, but if you say the wrong thing and ruffle Hollowpromise's fur, he'll be upon your throat in an instant.
His sadness is only when he is alone. His brother Sunfrost is the only cat to see the salty tears drip upon his fur. Happiness is an emotion often forced to much, and sometimes his helpfulness can get quite annoying. He wishes for an apprentice of his own, and wishes that no cat go through what he endured.
He has a soft spot for kits, and hopes to be a father someday. His main personality is flirtatious and shy. Like all toms, Hollowpromise is seeking that perfect female. He can be quiet sharp tonged, but is a cat of respect. He can be quiet sly at times. He is very stealthy, but chooses not to use it. He is a great hunter, but acts upon impulse.
History:
Hollowkit
Hollowkit was born to Thunderstep and Heartwound. He was one of three. Glasskit, and funny enough, Metallickit. He was a happy playfull kit, and loved his kin fiercely. He did all he could to protect them... But sadly it wasn't enough. When he was five moons old, he found that his father Thunderstep was from Brookclan and had to take one kit back with him. Heartwound was heartbroken and Glasskit couldn't cope so she left with her father. Heartwound having only Hollowkit left protected him fiercely, and tried to save him from everything she could. But soon enough her own broken heart led to her demise. She left the camp, and never returned. A patrol found her later, she had flung herself from a tree. Hollowkit was left broken and alone, and it was only thanks to Earthfrost he survived. She was a pretty young tortoiseshell and she knew of Heartwound's pain. With a happy heart she took in the half clan kit as her own, and with her son Sunkit, they made little Hollowkit feel like he was wanted. The only problem was, Winterflame, the father, didn't like the half clan kit, and his jealousy grew as his mate spent all her time with the little kit. Soon his heart grew black, and with his heinous feelings he sought out to kill the tiny kit quartering all his mates attention. But it would take time, and time was all he had.
Hollowpaw
Hollowpaw.... He was so distant, so cold, and so unloving, but only to others. His mother and brother were the only he loved. But his heart made room for a mentor; Spectresnow. She was a beautiful white she-cat with deep blue, pools of thoughtfulness, and Hollowpaw instantly fell for her, head over paws. But she was his mentor, and he an apprentice. As much as he liked his mentor, being a warrior was all he wanted, so he thought. He was trained along side his brother, Sunpaw, and they were the best of Friends. Sunpaw could tell the way his mentor and father; Winterflame glowered at his half-kin, and he tried his best to cool down the feelings the warrior had for the apprentice. Sunpaw did everything he could, but sadly.... Specrtesnow fell ill due to a tainted piece of fresh-kill she had eaten, and later on that day she died. Hollowpaw was so angry, so cold, and distant. He could tell by the way that his step father's eyes were a light, he killed her!!!! Revenge was the only thing on Hollowpaw's mind. He quietly told his mother, and brother what he was going to do. No matter if they protested, Winterflame would die! Earthfrost accepted quietly what her step son was planning. Sunpaw wanted to help, for he loved Spectresnow as well... They plotted their revenge and the next day they would act.
The next day the two toms plotted their fathers death. They plodded into the forest and found yarrow; Deathberries. The most simplest way to kill a cat, like Winterflame killed Spectresnow. They killed a rabbit, and stuffed it's belly until it was swollen with Deathberries. Sunpaw, being Winterflame's favorite kit presented the rabbit to his father, and within hours the demonic tom lie dead. Hollowpaw and Sunpaw became warriors that night. The weight of a dead cat on their paws was almost to much to bear.
Hollowpromise
They had killed a cat, the feeling of the death bringing berries still stung their paws. How could they say they were loyal to the warrior code, and Starclan, when they killed a cat. Hollowpaw was made into Hollowpromise, and his brother Sunpaw was made into Sunfrost. They tried to cope with the dread, and realization of what they did. Hollowpromise tried to justify is actions, but to nothing it came. Soon they forgot about what they did, but the feeling, and dread they might not go to Starclan clung to their pelts like burrs. Hollowpromise, promised to himself, and the reason why he asked to be named this; He promised to work his best to work his way to Starclan's glory. It would be hard, but he was ready.
IC Example:
Soft paws padded within his dreams, a lithe black she-cat with glass like eyes stared at him lovingly, " Do not fear," She purred. She padded over to him, as if she floated, her paw steps were not seen. She stopped in front of him, and purred. She looked around and beckoned him to do the same. " Look closely Hollowpromise." She meowed, glassy blue eyes glittering with all the might of Starclan, " Remember this place, this is where kin will be rekindled, and one that is apart of your heart, will be ripped away." Her claws scored the ground as she whispered, " Hollowpromise...."
The tom looked at the pretty she-cat and found it hard to speak, he recognized her scent, but from where? Then it dawned on him, " Glasshope!" He gasped, and was thrown into darkness.
